Utilities

The seller will likely transfer the utilities out of their name starting closing day, so it's important to have the utilities connected by closing day.

Some may require more advanced notice so I would recommend sooner rather than later. For example, if you need internet on the first day after you move in you may need to set an appointment and plan to be available for one of their windows. Just a heads up, they all operate differently.
